• In her piece “Sobreviviendo”: Immigration Stories and Testimonio in Song, Martha Gonzales states that "testimonio centers first-hand knowledge and experience as an invaluable resource and a place from which knowledge can be formulated". Why is this so important, especially for communities of color? 
• Undocumented immigrants have historically been exploited for profits. Undocumented agriculture workers don't receive the benefits of citizenship like insurance, unemployment benefits, or legal representation but still pay taxes and today are required to keep working as essential workers despite heath threats due to the coronavirus. How does this tie into the idea of neo-liberalism?
• Why does the accessibility of music make it such an important form of art activism? 
• Does music by non-Latinos like Woody Guthrie, Radney Foster, and Marc Ribot help Latinos by publicizing immigration injustice to a larger audience or is their music an example of white saviorism?
