support your message? Are you focused more on the packaging for your messages or creating music
that is representative of the change you wish to see in the world?
2. Latinx musicians from a variety of backgrounds have found major success both in the United States and internationally. Many of these prominent musicians and icons have blended art and activism ("artivism") in a way that helps promote their culture instead of only focusing on monetary gains. However, some musicians have arguably forgotten about their communities in favor of their own brand. Should all artists fulfill the obligation of serving the community that helped build them up through social messaging or at least activism on some level, or is it ultimately the musician's decision on how to lead their career?
