Do you think art is a more “effective” method of spreading Chicana feminist ideals because it takes up physical space, compared to writing which does not? Why or why not?
2) In Minute 34, the documentary talks about how building the altar is a physical group process. Why do you think this is so importance to the Day of the Dead celebrations?
3) In Day of the Dead celebrations, how do they reconcile ancestral indigenous customs with Catholicism, which was brought by Spanish colonizers? Is this balance important?
