Safi ya Umoja Noble hopefully states the beneficial power of search engines, "Search engines have the potential to display information and counternarratives that don’t prioritize the most explicit, racist, or sexist formulations around identity."  What are some ways in which we, as individuals, should seek to change the way data is not equally allocated or portrayed in the technologies we use everyday: facebook, Instagram, google, etc?

Basma Basma mentions in her medium article, “illegality was faded in the background,” as they studied, socialized, and immersed themselves into the American culture. " What are other ways in which marginalized groups grow up without realizing their differences and prejudices that are placed against them? How would Basma Basma react to those who strive to not fight the system but assimilate quietly?

Catherine  Ramirez  remarks, “Tourism capitalizes on tradition as it produces, maintains, and markets ethnic identities in colonial or postcolonial situations, that is, in situations in which intergroup relations are asymmetrical and exploitative.” What are ways in which we can maintain the cultural identity of places that are unable to resist tourism?

Catherine S. Ramírez also remarks in Afrofuturism/Chicana futurism, “Chicana futurism explores  the  ways  that  new  and  everyday  technologies,  including  their detritus,  transform  Mexican  American  life  and  culture.” What are the ways in which works of literature for Chicana awareness differ from works of music that we’ve been exploring: stuff like Convivencias.
