Lush garden Ofrenda honoring someone that they were not able to know in life for long. She was able to utilize real living nature for art. It is amazing that they were able to create such a unique and nature inclusive piece for honoring an individual. I think that this Ofrenda, one of many, is a great example of the beauty and importance of recognition for individuals and how diverse the art styles can be when creating an Ofrenda. I really enjoyed Rosanna and her mother's recollection of their experiences with Ofrenda making and the personal significance of their art. I appreciate the way in which they celebrate the dead as if they were living: "celebration of their life."
